The Marlborough High Girls' Indoor Track Team's 2008-2009 season was another big success. The team was champions for the 5th straight year of the MidWach B' League and was recognized for the Doherty award for the fourth time; however, was unable to win their 3rd straight District E Championship, placing 2nd behind a strong Wachusett team. Ally Oram went on to place 8th in the nation in the 5k running a 17.56.24 for another school record.

Withers Sets State Record!

Cathy Withers ran away from the field at the MSTCA Class B' State Meet, in winning the 1,000 meters in record setting time. Her astonishing time of 2.59.88 not only set a state and school record, but also qualified her for the National Invitational. Ally Oram, Brianna Kunycky and the 4 x 800 meter relay team also placed well! See the full results below.

Girls win 30th Annual District E Indoor Track Invitational for 2nd year in a row.

Panthers are led by Kim Urena in the 600 Meter, Brianna Kunycky in the 1,000 Meter, Ally Oram in the 2 Mile and many other outstanding team contributors! What a great achievement - Congratulations!

Marlboro Girls win 8 of the 11 events enroute to their forth straight league title...Chude sets two school records!

Marlborough High Girls Set State Record in the Class B Distance Medley Relay.

Brianna Kunycky, Cathy Withers, Lauren Papalia, and Ally Oram teamed together to run a 12.38.46 eclipsing the old record by eight seconds!

Champions - 4x800 Relay Team

Brianna Kunycky, Allyson Oram, Christina Kunycky and Cathy Withers are all smiles after winning the 4x800 meter relay at the MSTCA State Coaches Elite Invitational at the Reggie Lewis Center on Sunday, February 4, 2007. Their time of 9.40.78 missed the meet record by only 1.26 seconds and qualified them for the National Meet in Landover, Maryland. In addition, a week later at the State Class B' Meet, they set a meet record!
