i think that you could be more spacific on question 3 and i also disagree on question 2. if its not a reiable site there could be good info on it.

Nice descriptions, "Danny is Good."

I liked how you said that if there is waaaayyyyyyy too much ads in a website, it may be not that reliable.

Good answers. I think you should add more info to your answers, they are a little short.

1. I didn't know that there were so many types of search engines.  2. Date, credibility, sources, ads.3.You have to find good relible websites that aren't to flashy, have good resouces and have not to many ads. Also the ending is important because then you can find out what the website was made for.

1) What surprised me most on the presentation was that Yahoo and Alta Vista are more useful for the beginning of the search. I just use Google all the time. 2) You should read and make sure that all the information is accurate and correct.   3) I use Google, and I search my topic, for example, dance is a sport, then I scroll down the web page looking for what I want.

1. I was surprised that google, nothern light and snap, access the largest of any web browser, but it's only 15-16% I didn't know the World Wide Web was that big.

2. To carfully check the website and check it with other sites.

3. Use websites that are reliable and spoken highly of.

1) What surprised me most about the presentation is that I had no idea that there were so many search engines in existance. Sure I knew about Yahoo, Google, and Bing, but I never heard of the others

2) When evaluating a website, what I do is first, make sure it's appropriate. (I have this thing called Macafee on my computer) I also make sure it doesn't have that many ads, and that it doesn't have one of those user-posting things (with an exception of this site)

3) When I cpnduct research on the web, I normally use google. I like to keep my searches short, so I will get accurate information. I normally search like this:"percentage of earth covered in water" NOT "what is the percentage of earth being covered in water"

uh, I think you should add a little more to your answers. I also bet you knew that search engines help you with research already. And fro number 2 how do you check if it's a relibale site. and 3, you were supposed to be specific on how you search the web. Everybody knows you use those search engines.

I agree with your #2. I hate when there are so many ads on websites, it just distracts me and it just might might have a virus.
