# 13 A goal of any Homeric hero or any anciet Greek hero is to impress his peers commander or cheif in his worrior society. This is because you are more likley to get to the top of the ranks if you are the best.

I think number 12 because if you don't respect any form of life, they problably won't respect you.

good point Max, but what if this hero was doing something completely outrageous but amazing. He might be known as stupid, EG i can't belive he was dumb enough to fight that phalanx of men! that might be impressive, but wont get you to the top. anyway, life isn't always about being the best.

i disagree because what if the hero is brave, amazing, but a jerk. i think respecting all forms of life will get you farther beacause you never know when zeus can send a master bolt down to help

Number twelve (respects all forms of life) is the most important. It is because if you didn`t respect all forms of life then you wouldn`t protect the ones that you don`t respect and that isn`t heroic.

I disagree because you shouldn`t need to gain someone`s respect to become a hero but just protect them anyway.

i just had to agree with Richard for two reasons: 1) we have the same answer and reason and 2) i agreed before reading we had to disagree

I disagree with you because you don`t need to acheive the greatest glory as a hero you should just do it instead of trying to prove yourself to people.
